Installation and Working:
The installation procedure for cell phone boosters may vary according to the product. The typical steps involved may consist of the following:
1. Identify the most suitable location with the strongest signals, to install the external antenna. You can do this by looking at the signal strength indicator on your mobile phone handset.
2. Use the mounting brackets and to vertically install the antenna, at least three feet away from metallic objects like air conditioning units and pipes.
3. Take the coaxial cable and attach it to the base of the signal antenna.
4. By using an optional window entry kit, you can run the other end of the coaxial cable through your window and attach it to the base unit which is kept indoors.
5. Ensure that the base's antenna is at a 90 degree angle to the base unit.
Connect the power supply to the base unit. You will need to adjust the distance between the two antennas to eliminate any error indications.

Verizon Wireless:
Verizon makes use of both the 800 and 1900 MHz frequency band in their cellular network. To find the correct repeater for you, we provide some advice bellow.
800 MHz repeater Kits for Verizon Voice Coverage.
1900 MHz repeater Kits for Texas, Florida and Verizon EVDO service.
Dualband Repeater Kits for both Voice and EVDO Data.
AT&T:
AT&T's complex network infrastructure utilizes both 800 and 1900 MHz frequencies. Therefore, the most simple solution is to opt for a dual band cellular repeater, which will always work with the AT&T Network.
In most cases, AT&T uses the 800 MHz band for voice services.
AT&T generally uses the 1900 MHz frequency band for its HSDPA/UMTS broadband data service (for both cell phones and broadband data cards).
Alltel:
Alltel utilizes both 800 and 1900 MHz signals within its cellular network.
In many states (Arkansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Texas, North Dakota, Utah, Nebraska, Wyoming), Alltel uses 800 MHz frequency signals only.
In other states, Alltel utilizes both 800 and 1900 MHz frequency bands in different areas. The same applies to their EVDO broadband data service. If you require a cellular repeater for one of these states we recommend you for a dual band repeater kit.
US Cellular:
US Cellular makes use of both 800 and 1900 MHz frequency signals. Therefore, in order to select a suitable repeater to improve the signal for the US Cellular network, you need to ascertain the frequency US Cellular employs in your area.
800 MHz Coverage:
California: Eureka
Indiana: Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Des Moines, Water Lou
Maryland: Coverage Pending
Missouri: St. Joseph, Columbia
North Carolina: Asheville, Wilmington, Jacksonville
Oregon: Medford
Pennsylvania: Coverage Pending
Tennessee: Knoxville
Virginia: Roanoke, Charlottesville, Lynchburg
Washington: Yakima, Richland
West Virginia: Hagerstown, Cumberland
Wisconsin: Sheboygan, Green Bay, Janesville, Racine, Kenosha, Madison, Milwaukee, Appleton
Standard network (voice calls, text messages, EDGE data)
T-mobile utilizes the 1900 MHz frequency band for their entire network. 1900 MHz repeaters will therefore boost any T-mobile signal for use with mobile phones.
Sprint PCS:
Sprint PCS uses CDMA technology with a 1900 MHz frequency. This applies to both their voice coverage and their EVDO broadband service. In general, 1900 MHz (or dual band) repeaters can be used with the Sprint PCS network to improve cellular reception and EVDO coverage.
Metro PCS:
The Metro PCS uses the 1900 MHz frequency band everywhere, so all 1900 MHz single band repeaters that we sell are suitable for use with this network.
Cricket:
Cricket utilizes CDMA technology of 1900 MHz frequency in all the areas they operate. Any of the 1900 MHz frequency cellular repeaters we sell will amplify mobile phone signals from the Cricket network, and will improve both cell phone signal and the wireless cellular data cards service.
